Wanted to share :)
A couple of weeks ago my wife was at work and she texted me and asked, what’s that gun that you’ve been into, my coworker’s husband is also into air guns? So I replied the “Edgun Matador”. I am not big into celebrating my birthday. I hate being the center of attention. But she really wanted to plan something for me this year. After much begging, I finally said OK.
Well she surprised me with this cake yesterday (Turned 36). She googled Edgun Matador because she has no clue what it looks like. I never showed her a picture. She picked a random picture because when I tried googling it, so many different models come up. So if the picture below is of your gun, compliments from my wife 🙂

My two boys mesmerized by the candle. Quick story, when my dog was a pup, I used a laser pointer to tire him out. He would chase it forever. Well the plan backfired, now whenever he sees artificial light (laser, flashlight) he goes nuts.

That’s really nice. My wife made a cake when I built a homebuilt airplane about ten years ago with a picture of the plane on it. I guess you can get a new gun every birthday then? 🙂

Thanks everyone! UGMJ you are correct. My wife gave them a digital copy of the picture from her cellphone and they printed a paper version. They get it to the correct size then they print a very thin and I mean thin layer of an edible image. You can’t see from the images but on the side of the cake, they made it look camo. My wife thought they would think she’s crazy for asking for camo and a picture of a gun on a cake but the baker kept a straight face and said we could do it. I guess camo and guns are very common in Florida.
This was the printed image that they used to make the edible layer.
My father in law is a pastry chef and normally the picture is an edible paper with edible coloring printed on the paper…
