Q:

Warp Vs Flex?

Hi –
How did you decide which one to get?

Warp Vs Flex?

Pros/cons – any other alternative high velocity mult-shot choices?

Other BullPups

i have both warp .22 and a flex .30-.308
the warp is ok quiet if powered up if u shoot at about 800fps is not bad about like my vulcan .25 with ldc …when i put my flex ldc on the warp it make it a lot quieter think i might have a new ldc made for it neil maybe can do something with it …. the flex shooting the .30 is a tack driver at 930fps
the warp i shoot most of the time 14.3gr .22 at about 850-900 got a dove at 140 yards not bad for a 12.5 barrel ,got a crow at 60yrds yesterday 14.3 gr dropped him … i put the MTC connect 3-12×32 on it make for a good shooter nice when u fold the stock shoot out of the jeep …. i’m having the corn. valve put in the flex now that way i can get the most out of the .308 .. i can shoot 25-32gr .22 from the warp at good fps so don’t need the .25 barrel
i also have the .30 barrel for the warp but have never used it… the flex in .30 is the best shooter i’ve shot … so i say get both……
just finished timing a scope ring to fit the connect to mount on the warp i hated the two ring up front look this works much better..

Anyone have a WARP in .22? If so how quiet is it with the shroud fully extended with all baffles installed, as in is it MRod .22 quiet?

Yep you guys did not put pictures up, I got like Hoot and confused,
I was thinking of the FX impact for some reason,
Lets just say I had a brain fart,
Warp, Flex , Impact, Just all starting to run together,
My mistake, first one in 30 years,
Mike

Own a WarP being the First one ever produced for Field Target work in .177 caliber :biggrinn:
Out side of the overall length / main tube length and the internal plenum volume … there basic mechanical platforms are identical.
Bottle regulator or not, type bottle fitted your choice. Due to the plenum volume of the WarP, caliber and realistic power to be harnessed from it maxs out at 30 cal & it really is not recommended by travis. WarP is a .177 / 22/ 25 platform & the FleX 22/25/30/357 better suited.

quote iride:

So the warp won right?
The warp You can shoot it, Light and accurate.
The flex has to be sent back every 300 shots for a warranty issue and a tune for some thing broke,
So who won ?
Mike

Never heard of a WAR FLEX breaking… Now the FX Impact yes…

Warp and FLEX more or less the same rifle just the WARP is smaller/lighter and and only capable of shooting 22 through 30 caliber and the FLEX has more range in caliber choice.

Which one won??? Its a personal preference

Did you mean the FX Impact being sent back in for constant warranty work? I don’t think I’ve heard of any WAR warranty issues.

Never mind I got confused,
Just skip over this post.
Mike

WARP:

Lighter
More compact
barrel change up to = (.22 – 30 cal)
(my opinion less cast bullet capable )
No handle grip to carry

FLEX:

Heavier
Barrel change up to = (.22 – 308 cal)
( cast bullet capable )
more adjustability do the extra plenum space
Handle grip

I seen somewhere on this site where someone tested the War against the flex,
Mike
