Weird question
OK, so I was just wondering something. Ed and i was shooting the other day and I found something interesting. We was shooting at a target ed had drawn of a x on a piece of paper thingy he had, lol. Anyway, I noticed when I shot at the left side of the paper my groups were closer together and I did great, but when I shot at the right side of the paper at the target that Had been drawn It was WAY off. Is this normal? I just found it odd that I shot better to the left then I did to the right. Maybe I just need more practice, but I didn’t know if anyone else had the same thing happen or something like it….

Hey Blue Jay, could you send a picture of how you made your level? Ed wants to see it. And he told me about canting the gun. He’s learning me!! He was mentioning it to me when I was shooting that day. Guess I have a lot to learn. I’ll figure it all out, and in the mean time have fun doing it. I never thought shooting guns could be soo much fun. But it is relaxing and I enjoy the challenge. And I don’t think Levels are for girls, it just gives your gun a little class..LOL 😉 Ed said I’m getting better at shooting I’m down to an inch and a half at sixty yards bench rested..(AN INCH AND A HALF I HAVE MOST YOU GUYS BEAT RIGHT LOL LOL LOL) 😈 😀 😉
You probably don’t have the parallax adjusted correctly on your scope. You can check this by looking at your target and moving your head back and forth ever so slightly. If your target moves around a little adjust your parallax until the target stays still when doing this test. Also make sure you are shooting with your dominant eye. With both eyes open point at something and then close one eye at a time. Use the eye that keeps the same point of reference when both eyes are open. Just some ideas for you.

I was wondering about how my head was positioned?!?!…I will have to try that and see how it works..Ed just got a pod to put on the front of the gun. I was setting down resting the gun on the pod..But I’m still getting use to it . It moves weird, lol…OH and for blodnob, I may have a vagina between my legs but I’m sure I have more balls then you do man!! 😛 LOL LOL..Girls can do a lot more then you think. Some just choose not to. That’s why I don’t hang out with a lot of girls, they get on my nerves ..I get along better with guys cause they are not as annoying..They Just joke a lot and that’s alright with me..I’m going to keep practicing and I’ll get better at using the scope and aiming right…I like a challange!!

Also, you might be canting the gun.
your probably canting the gun to one side or the other, a simple level mounted on the rings or one of the rails will help train you to keep from doing that, beeman sells one with a dove tail, or you can do what I did and get one from the hardware store for next to nothin and epoxy it to the front ring.
