Well i sold the LD and
am prolly going to regret it BUT
I have a Very nice TX200 MKIII coming in in place of the LD
i just didnt shoot the Ld as much as i had thought i would
I was going to use it as a hiking gun but it wasnt practical for hiking and my P1 was
I carry my B51 alot hiking also for long shots on game but i run outta shots if i feel like plinking
so in comes the TX
its accurate and enough power for a 50 yards rabbit with a head shot,
Well i will see if i like it soon enough

as you said i get one shoot it if i like it it stays( P1,P3 and B51)
i loved the LD but i didnt shoot it much
i had an ar6 for a day it sucked balls so gone and got my rws 48 and 850 airmag
liked the multioshot of the airmag but thats about all
the 48 was a tank to carry and accurate but was hold sesative so out went that also
ill try the TX see ow whe feels and go from there
i was going to hold out for the Mrod pistol but heck i might die tomorrow so why not try the TX i have always wanted to anyways.
I would think that Mrod pistol with a 22xx stock will be a great gun also.

Having spent a year in ‘Nam and a year in Korea, I can definitely vouch for the Asian woman knowing that the man is THE MAN !! anyhow, back to airgunning…. 😀
Everytime I read about guns that are so heavy, I’m grateful that I found the TSS, mine weighs less than 6.5 pounds, WITH mounts and scope (I use a compact “bug buster”..My 2250 (shoots 34+FPE) weighs less than 6 pounds…and both are really short, easy to handle/carry/ manuever…carbines were made for old, skinny, short dried up old-farts like me. 😉 😉

Crowpopper will have bought and sold at least 5 guns before the Mrod pistol comes out.
I did the same thing at his age, you get to enjoy a lot of guns and experience them, but not have a lot of capitol tied up in them.
More power to him, it is part of living in the USA that you can do stuff like that.
It is when you do that with women that it gets expensive, unfortunately I did that also.

but also the TX is alot better looking than the 48 was

I love my p1 was out hiking today went to a lake back in the woods and was nailing dragonflies off the water out to 20 yards pretty consistantly
with all the weight he has lost, he could carry three of them and never notice it.

The TX is a great gun. It is not light and will give you a work out carrying it in the field.
I had a P1 for 15 years and while I loved the look and feel I sold it because the accuracy was not what I would deem acceptable at 35 yds. I am at the point that an airgun better have 1/2″ at 50 yds or I get rid of it.
My P1 was pristine with cocobolo grips and shoulder stock and the only thing I miss about it is its looks…lol
I take my LD hunting in the woods due to its light weight and ease of carry and with 200 shots on tap I don’t have to worry about running out of gas plinking while I hunt.
You will love that new gun. Throw up some picts when it comes.

Absolutely, why shoot something your tired of for a couple months when you can trade.
And with air rifles it is not like you have to buy a bunch of reloading dies and brass, you already have 117 and 22 and 25 caliber on hand so you just get another gun.
