Q:

well, just over 1/2 way there

I’ve got 5 cords of wood stacked under the overhang in the front garage for the house

now I just have to move 4 cords from this pile

to under the overhang in the back garage for Man-Ville

then I’ll be ready for heating the place this winter, not too bad I guess since I can heat my house for about $1,000 a year, compare to around $4,000 if I used oil

but it will be good to get my shooting lanes back.

I’ve got targets setup for 50, 100 and 200 feet.
and after I do some clay target shooting with my shotgun, i finish off the larger pieces for practice on unknown distance shooting.

nothing beats the warm cosy comfortable glow of a wood stove

plus you get warm from the same wood up to four times
the first time when you cut it
the second time when you chop it
the third time when you stack it
and the last time when you burn it

quote Love my Talon SS:

and you will have plenty of mice and chipmunks to shoot at when they move into the stacks. 😀

nope, the cats get them loooong before i do

WOW!!

Energy is a great thing. I used to have some, but I misplaced it somewhere in all my junk. I have got to get some more and hang on to this time.

Thanks for the inspiration.

5 cords for one winter! Damn! Looks real nice there though.
