I finally get a chance to chrony this gun since i got it back a week ago and now the power is wheel is stuck.
it just clicks but wont move. This gun has been nothing but issues after issues. I got maybe 50 shots thru the chrony. 👿

People want to pretend just because you spend $$ on something it is going to come perfect. The fact of the matter that does not always happen. All gun manufacturers have repair departments and they actually repair brand new guns… Even the Daytstates , FX and Rapids go back for repair when brand new at times.
When you get an AF airgun it is worth what you paid for it sure it sucks when something is not right but that goes for a new car, appliance and even an highend airgun.
Some people should never own certain kinds of airguns. Some people screw with their guns so much they ruin the tolerances and cry about it time and time again. They buy another one do the exact same nonsense and continue to cry not realizing they are the problem.
Sometimes people turn a easy to fix problem into a nervous break down.
If the gun is brand new…SEND IT BACK, it is under warranty.
If you dismantle your gun be sure you know what is going on or you risk becoming the problem not the solution.
Sometimes it is harder to fix the owner then it is to get the gun repaired.
It suck ass when a new gun has a problem but like any other item…If you can not figure it out send it back or send it in for warranty.
Thanks MKFS, and yes, that is exactly what I ment. If I wanted to say he had shit between his ears, I would have said he had shit for brains. Plain and simple. And to the point. I might have been bashful at one time, but that was years agoI I don’t have times to write books. Ask advice=take advice. Other wise, fuck off.
And NO one here ever said the AF guns were perfect. Hell, if they were, most of us wouldn’t be here in the first place. We have been addressing and fixing the problems they have for YEARS. Hell, sometimes AF even listens. (But they sure as hell would never admit it.)! 😈
Dyotat,, that is exactly what I already said. Perhaps T. will listen to you on this. I’ll not offer to help him on anything again. He had rather argue than listen. Just don’t have time for all the bullshit talk.
Knife
Sometimes the forearm grip screw will hit the power wheel. If not the PW is bottomed out. Take out the barrel and then you can unscrew the PW.
O master YODA , O enlighten one good to see you outta slumber. As the dutiful sermon been completed. Throw some lights on Trigger’s condor.
Just too bad what he had gone through with his new gun.
The cut and dried err the veterans, as they always do, pour in suggestions and helpTrigger makes his gun on road again.
@Trigger if I was in your position I would just open the breech , pull the hammer out , as the hammer spring tension is released the pw will be easy to be manipulated.
I think what Knifemaker meant (between the ears) was that you may have misinterpreted the click sound. As there is hardly any thing for the pw to click . A dull click may be pw thread jumping over that plastic/ delrin thread .
Am also waiting to see what the veterans advise.
Regards,
Trigger,
They are just not perfect guns as you have seen. They do have a lot of problems.
I played with them for a couple of years and sold my last one about 9 months ago I guess it was.
For me and I am a tinkerer, I still found them too frustrating to keep consistent. I would rather put that money in FX products. I have wonderful little FX Tarantula that is no longer made and used costs as much as a Condor ss or Talon SS, itis one of the most beautiful air guns ever made and is utterly reliable and far more accurate…If I manually index the magazine. What I am saying is most air guns have little quirks, AF gun have big quirks.
You can dump a but load of money into them that you will never get out, much like a custom car, and still have a AF rifle and all its inconsistencies and poor fitting dimensions which will have you tearing into them continuously.
They also can give you power that at one time was unheard of in air guns, but for me now and where I am at in air guns their power is mediocre at best when shot against my cast bullet guns, and if there is anything the AF line does and does well, it may be that it makes a fine platform for a cast bullet gun.
@Trigger 619 , the crux of the matter is …. Has your problem been solved. If so do post how .
Am also a newbie like you.
Bro I must tell you one thing. Here again I am not advocating any one just conveying what humble mind could grasp. Knifemaker is one who sometimes is too focused to the problem faced by a AF Airgun newbie. He advises to the point. Too much to the point that at times easily mistaken. I also had the same feeling initially. But his advice is aimed at few things especially for noobs…..
To solve the problems posted.
To prevent you from unnecessary purchases.
Correct suggestions.
I hardly know any of these seniors but reading their old posts I know I am at the right place.
As for the dialect they uses , most of the time you may find stricks of wild west cowboy movies dialect. But this again is true for most of the hard core gun lovers all over the world.
RC (whom you called roach ) behind that rough words he used in the above post , you will find deep philosophy of Gautam Buddha between his ears. Strange eh but its a fact .
I can see Lurker with popcorn ready to watch the verbal duel. He too has a lots in him which may guide a new member but only if comes out of his slumber.
Regards,
I havent messed with the gun since other than trying to move the power wheel.
If i offended anyone i apologize. i know these guys are very knowledgeable about these guns . Just kinda rubbed me the wrong way when he implied
that it was me not the gun. especially that when i posted i was so heated cause i just got the gun back a week prior from ups truck. the valve seat came off
or loose is what Randy said from Rl. that was the second time back. This is all within a month of ownership. First i sent just the tank. Get the tank back and the same shit
happens on the second shot. pellet will not leave the barrel . then he advised me to send the whole gun . He checked it out and said it was the valve seat came off or loose inside the tank. I asked him and he said that he rebuilt the tank the first time i sent it to him. Now why would it pop out again i asked. he assured me that the gun
is ok after an extensive testing. that he rebuilt all the internals. thats where i was at when i posted this last week. This is a factory stock gun. I have not had a chance
to do anything to it other than add air and shoot it thru the chrony. All the known issues like the end cap coming loose did’nt realy bother me at first. i added tape but it still gets pushed out a little. Now why would we accept this type of quality for a $700 gun and a few more for scuba tank, adapter ,etc.
So i’m pretty confident to say that its not the shit in between my ears that he was implying. 😆 😆 maybe I was being the delicate flower 😆
Yes, us nasty old farts have really forgotten more than all the knowledge many k-14+ kiddies have ever learned.
We understand the the ancient proven theory of ‘spare the rod and spoil the child’, so we try to administer a pointed correction to those we hope are worth our efforts. At times our seeds fall upon rocky soil and have difficulty taking root. We realize only the wisest noobee will catch on quickly.
Soon we will add the sharp comments of this thread to the list of forgotten knowledge because there will always be another noobee seeking knowledge but not knowing yet how to listen and accept our loving corrections.
There you have it, the whole truth…the gods have spoken
:whoop:

😆 😆 😆
@ seniors how can you be lead off the topic so easily.

It’s been so long since I have seen our boy Mike, I don’t remember if he has a pointed head from being a ass hole baby shit out or that foamy look in his eyes from being spit out.
Shit or spit, he is entertaining. 😛
I guess I do sort of work for AF, at least I designed a rifle for them. 😛
Gotta protect your girlfriend roach. You talking about you guy’s love child. I knew you guys were fags. Wonder where he went. probably

and get back to fixing AF guns 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆
We just have to remember not to shit these things out indiscriminately.

Hi Trigger,
Any update.
1. Best would be what above quote says.
2. Better still if you can get refund. And look for one in the sale threads of this forum.
Here is one with good bargain. ( Would have liked it myself but in our country import of airgun is not easy and firearm import is banned)
Don’t loose heart , airgunning is thrilling , it has negligible legal issues. No wonder I migrated to airgun from center and rim fire lol.
REGARDS,
