Q:

What a sight!

So what is wrong with this picture? Brand new from my not so local gun shop. Oh BTW it is a Browning 800 apparently made by Umarex. Never should have got rid of the Izzy. 🙁

Umarex is just a major distributor of air gunning stuff

When I first looked into the Browning and the Diana, I asked where they were made.

I was told one was made in Turkey, and the other in Russian. As best I recall. They are two totally different pistols, although they look somewhat alike and have similar stated capacities.

I believe Umarex is merely the middleman in handling these pistols. I once bought an AA400 from them.

why would you keep a new gun that is obviously f—-d up and invest in a different sight when you can return it?

no return policy at the store. I did not really notice it till a week later. when I started shooting it.

I e-mailed Umarex to see what they will do about it.

I had one from PA and sent it back almost immediately. Plastic trigger, slop in the pull and let off. I put a red dot on it and the shots drifted all over the place.

Later I wished I’d spent the extra $100 for the Diana.

It doesn’t get no 700 fps either! Nowhere near that.

Kindly ‘Ol Uncle Hoot 😯

Well the LP8 is on the Umarex web sight so it is also probable also made by Umarex. 🙂

I wouldn’t red dot it.

I’d get them to give you a new one that is correctly made, then red dot that one.
