Q:

What are the best pellets?

For the condor i have a condor comming soon and i was wondering what pellet are the most accurate in the condor. Ofcourse i want it to stay subsonic. Will kodiaks stay sub sonic in a condor? Also are jsb predator to light to stay stable and subsonic out of a stock condor?

nope

How do you think the north american arms .22 bullets would work in the condor? They make them for there blackpowder pistol. There 30 grain.

That’s why we use mostly HN barracuda here in BG 😆

quote Hold over:

JSB 18 GR. Seems to work best ,Kodiacks are good , EIN JUNS are real good too .

Havent tried the JSB monsters or the the HN barracuda match yet.

I ve never heard of this before , can you elaborate ??
because I dont want to foul by barrel .

The Barracudas and the Kodiaks are the same pellet. H&N makes both Beeman just put their name on the Kodiaks. The Barracudas are cheaper than the Kodiaks from PA though.

I would agree with Rob about the fouling of the barrel… But then I never have bought into the crap I read and hear about all the time of never need to clean the barrel business…

I have always cleaned mine and regular… Its not that big a deal, just make sure to get the right sort of solvent and some good stuff. Its not a centerfire barrel, so don’t be running any brushes down the bore and don’t use the rods either… One of the best things to use and cheapest, string trimmer line… Cut you a piece 30″ long for the longer barrels, put a nice trimmed point on one end, like with a grinder or pencil sharpener. Then heat the other end with a lighter or candle, then spit on a finger and pat the end flat and make it a little larger, but no so much that the end won’t pull through the barrel caliber.

Use the sharpened end to stab the patches on the trimmer line and pull toward the larger flattened end and your ready to get after cleaning… These work quite well when you need to clean the barrel… Cheap and easy to take to the field if need be… That and then Otis makes a really nice kit that has everything you need to pack and take with you for around 30 bucks or so… These are really nice and you can use these on centerfire also as they have the brush. Nice nylon coated braided wire so as wont hurt the rimfire or air rifle barrels and yet have the mussle to use the brushes to clean the centerfire… I keep my barrels clean, heck even use the felt bore pellets at times to help prolong the cleanings when I want to keep shooting…

Far as the pellets, it depends on how you plan to shoot the Condor, you just want to punch paper, by and far the best and most fun for that is the
Predators, expensive, yeah a little but guys these things punch such a nice perfect round hole even in regular copy paper… Every one of the many different barrels I have and have used love these pellets to punch paper…

You want the run the Condor up more and not worry about how much air you use, Kodiacs and the EJ’s 28gr… I am still waiting on the new JSB monsters to try out… I have high hopes on these…

With a rifle like the Condor and if you keep the barrel clean and not ruin the barrel doing so, these rifles are not fussy at all on choice so much, I don’t see how anyone could just have one or two different choices to shoot LOL… You need to buy several different pellets to do which ever shooting you are wanting to do for that day

If you are going to be running your Condor hot, you need to be using Kodiaks or Eun Jins….. otherwise, you will end up leading your barrel within a couple months and accuracy will go to shit.

If you are going to run your Condor at lower power, then the lighter offerings will be fine.

im shooting jsb 18 grn pellets with great accuracy

JSBs are probably going to be the most accurate. In my barrels the only pellet that has been able to compete(accuracy wise) with JSBs is other JSBs.
