Q:

What does an Edgun Matador with serial number 2034 mean?

I have an opportunity to buy a used Matador with serial number 2034. Can someone tell me if this serial number has most of the recent modifications to the Matador or is this an older model?

Also are there any issue with this version of the Matador?

Thanks..

I am a little spooked but thanks for the additional info. It helps to get other’s feedback.

As I don’t have the Matador in hand can someone tell me from these images if this is the non-epoxy version.

Thanks for bearing with me. I’m that close.

😀

I still need to know if the serial number provided is of the older Matadors or recent up-to-date ones.

Can someone provide an earlier serial number Matador and tell me if it is current with all features? I’m concerned picking up an older version that people are telling me to stay away from.

Thanx…

now THAT is funny!

black epoxy scares you too eh?

hay rossall, what part of Az you in?

All Egun Matadors sold in the States are R2.5

The R3 can’t be photographed. The paint adapts in a chameleon style and blends in wherever you put it. Sorry…

How much did that guy sells the R2 for ? If you don’t want it, I do! Please ask him why he sells it. Does he has other airguns, and if so, in his opinion, what other airgun could be better than the Matador ?

PS. I think I will install a “beep thing” on my Matador. It’s been half an hour since I’m looking all over the place for it. 👿

The guy is willing to sell as it is a closet queen. He is just waiting for me to decide.

So any info would be helpful as I don’t have an Edgun yet. BTW, can someone post a picture of the R3?

Thanks…

Ed’s new camo paint makes it nearly invisible and when I pick it up, when I can find it, it feels light as air! It is totaly silent also.

I also got free shipping! 😆

Stay away from the ones with black epoxy on the reservoir and you should be good to go.

😆 😈 I don’t think he will sell it any time soon.

BTW , I know everybody got their Matador R3 by now. What is the difference from the R2 version ?

I got mine of course, and the only difference I see it’s that it has the best camo paint I’ve ever seen. Sometimes I really have to focus to be able to see it next to me.

Have others notice anything else ?

OK…. I’ll Bite

What is the difference ?
