What does it take to shoot 43.2 gr Eun Jun pellets ?
I have a new 25 caliber Condor on order. What does it take to shoot 43.2 gr Eun Jun pellets reasonably accurately?
By that I mean, while maintaining at least 25-50 yd quarter (or smaller) size groups. I know this topic looks very similar to this other topic (Condor – Minimum gr hammer weight for 42.8 gr Eun Jun pellet) , but this topic just is particular to the whole package to shoot 43.2 gr Eun Juns.
So, at a minimum, what needs changed ?
Hammer weight ?
Main spring pressure ?
Valve porting ?
Valve polishing ?
Tank regulator ?
Frame strengthening (tri-rail) ?

Glad to hear some real world experience with the 43.2 gr. You convinced me.
(Off topic – you were talking about a shroud blowing off. I made a shroud for my 270 deer rifle out of a lawn mower muffler which I took apart, baffled and pop riveted back together. I used hose clamps to hold the pipe end onto the barrel. First shot I couldn’t tell the difference in sound, because it blew clear off and landed 85 yds down range. Both gun and muffler were undamaged. A lot of air force there 😯 )
I have a stock Condor 22, but it isn’t a 22 now, I converted it to a 25, and it shoots center to center 43.2 grain EJ’s at 43 yards.

At 20 yards it is virtually one hole, I got mine from Tony. The front Bushings are drilled, and I have a shroud. I shot it apart one time it blew plum out I luckily found the parts and put them back in and all was well.
If you want to experience something have a shroud to blow out. Sounds like a baby howtser and recoils about like a 12 gage 😀

Any guess on the approximate muzzle FPE is on that setup ?
I messed so much with that gun I can’t even remember much of the settings, since I haven’t touched it in ages & I’m currently using the Air Ranger & Edgun, both .25.
My Air Ranger didn’t mind these Eunjin as long as I keep them at 800fps, they were shooting 1″ at 90 yards but I can’t remember the Condor but they don’t shoot bad either on that at higher speed.
My top hat is always set at .100″ and power settings is at 4 if I remember correctly, also like I said I’m using a 120gram custom hammer.
I’ll tell you what you do, get the .25 barrel, Tony’s hammer & shoot these 43 gr at 50 yards & see, if that’s not what your looking for than take it from there.

Thanks for the straight scope. Tell me…Are you seeing accuracy issues with the 43.2 gr ? What kind of group are you getting at 50 yds ? What pressure to they like ? What top hat setting do you have ? etc. etc…
I’m concerned that the 43.2 Eun Juns have a bad rap on accuracy and therfore it is a jump from 32 gr to 57 gr. to be at the coyote level. That means costly mods, but I can’t get anyone to tell me the minimum mods to use the 57 gr 6 Ring pellet.
To shoot the 57gr all you need is the Hi flo tank & a hammer & just increase the spring tension.
I have my own home made hammer 120grams and the default spring & hi flowmvlave & I can shoot these 43gr at 980s.
Even these 43gr at 50 yards has amazing power.

Made by Sean over seas. I tried to buy a couple off him almost a year ago. I got lucky and bought both of them off a member on here. I gave up on Sean. Last contact I had with him was October. There was one on EBay UK couple of weeks ago but they wouldn’t ship to the states or I would have bought it.
A .25 is more that enough for small game even unto 150 yards especially with heavier pellets.
I am taking small game at even 180 yards with my Edgun shooting JSB 25gr at 970fps, I know it’s a little hot for accuracy but I can’t be bothered to tune it down.
With the Air Ranger & the 31 gr pellets you get even more down range power.
The Condor with the 43gr shooting around 900 I would say is more than enough for coyote unto 50 yards.

Not sure. All of my valves are modified. I have 3 of Tony’s valves, 2 Blod valves, 1 for .25 and 1 big bore. I was thinking of ordering a stock condor valve from Airforce just to see the difference. Where are you located?
I’m good with going down to 800 to 850 fps for either of these pellets. Even lower if they hold accuracy without too much drop. So what does it take for that ?
Since it is a big jump from 32 gr to 57 gr, I’d really like to know what all it will take rather then come up short on power, before I put down some bucks to pump up that far.
A lot. Last time I shot the 7 rings the best I could do was 858 fps with blod valve. I will shot some with condor and blod valve tonight once it cools off.
Appreciate it Jerry. While we wait on their responses, how about some FPEs based on certain Condor setups at 50 yds. That way, after all the opinions are in, I’ll have a range of FPE suggestions and already know what it takes to get that ?
Like what would it take to push out these:
6 ring, 57.6gr, 922.1 FPS, 108.8 FPE
7 ring, 66.9gr, 893.5 FPS, 118.6 FPE

Shot a few Eunjins and some 7 rings today. Turns out I don’t have enough spring to open Blod valve with 3000 psi fill. Shot 7 with 7 ring peaked at 858 shot 9 was 855. Same thing with Eunjins. Shot 1 was 948, shot 9 was 1015. Shot 10 was 1012, shot 15 was 1001. Then I through in a 7 ring and it still went 841 for shot 16. Looks like my spring has gotten soft on me again. I have a bad habbit of cocking gun to remove the tank and forgeting to uncock it. I will put in my next stiffer spring and see what happens.
