Q:

What FRONT BAG is best w/ Synthetic stock???

What front bag are people using for the Synthetic Cricket? I think the crickets forearm/Forestock is about 2 1/3″ wide.

I was looking into the 2″ Square Owl Ear Front Bag or 3″ from Protektor. Would those be ok or are there any other bags with a better fit for the synthetic stock?

Don’t own a cricket but this is the best front rest on the market!

Keep us poste on results.

I have a led sled and the front bag does not sit the crickets stock very well. You will want to find a front bag that sits and levels the stock… and thats were I am (trying to find that perfect bag size for a cricket synthetic flat bottom stock).

My new set up will be on a my old sled but, I am changing the front rest with a new one from “Shadetree Engineering & Accuracy” Joy-stick adjustable rest top. The rest top on the lead sled windage adjustment moved up and down too much for me will tracking. So now that I spent a little bit more for decent rest top I hope to find a front bag to go with it that will work great not just ok.

Just saw your post. I tried the cadwell shooting bag. It worked fine. I then tried a tri pod shooting stick. This was a little but more difficult to keep steady than the shooting bag. Now I am exploring a shooting bench with a led sled.

So no one has used a shooting rest with their Synthetic stock Crickets? ❓
