Hoots right Mike and it pains me to say that. I do still use it on my Cricket and it’s very affective, thanks again Donny!!

Hoot
If you can use it , Its yours,
I think Zonk is still using his on his 22 Cricket.
It works great, but does not look as cool as a fat boy.
PM me the address,
Mike

I tried to ship a LDC (plastic) to a guy on here. My local UPS store gave me a price and said I would need an open C.C. in case there were and taxes or fines on the shipping part, Well I did not ship it and I still got it.

Mike, what they don’t know won’t hurt them, or anyone else. I routinely ship various “items” via USPS and UPS. What’s inside that box is my business, so I don’t volunteer any more info than they ask for. No dangerous, explosive, or chemical should ever be shipped without the appropriate warning labels and precautions. However, shipping a plastic tube to someone should be no more involved than packaging it, taking it to the local post office, and sending it either Priority, or 1st Class…it’s as simple as that.

I once shipped a rifle, via USPS, and read all the requirements carefully and attached all the appropriate information on the package. The clerks had no idea of how to handle such a shipment. They had to read the USPS firearm shipping instructions, which I had printed out, before they agreed to send the rifle on it’s way.

The world is full of ignorant people…don’t destroy their peace of mind by giving them more information than they actually need to function.

PS: Mail that tube to me…I can use it on my AirMax!

Long live the Beluga! :biggrinn:

Coda, the one I had is afar……………..

I admire FX airguns only from afar. Iol I have only shot others.

After having one FX airgun “Bobcat” I’ve had enough of them. My Cricket and Vulcan will do everything a FX will do but much better. After having a smooth twist barrel compared to a rifled barrel, I’ll never go back to a smooth twist.

I changed the game many years ago.

Before I was running behind the “newest and best” airgun doing pre-orders, paying deposits and waiting for delivery often for several months and I got my lemons….

Today the only advertising that can tempt me to buy an airgun is a proven, long time standing positive track record.

I don’t run anymore behind the newest airgun, there is no time limited MUST HAVE gun, no hurry because I have other trusted airguns to play with, let the market do the selection for me, anyway they will never end and only continue to improve and settle to a reasonable price. The new guns command a premium price which can translate into a PREMIUM LEMON.

I told him he could have it for free, My local UPS store gave me a price and said I would need an open C.C. incase there were and taxs or fines on the shipping part, Well I did not ship it and I still got it.
Not sure how they would ship an air gun????
Mike

With so much success it was time for a hefty price increase, No more free shipping. Actually, sales are probably down and this is how AOA makes them up.

“Got a customer e-mail from Straight Shooters (I bought my Cricket from them early last year) today saying that FX and Daystate prices are going up September 1st and that free shipping will no longer be allowed.

Might want to get those orders in before those 2 brands increase in $$$$.”

Don’t think AGN would allow a Lemon Law Class Action Suit on their forum ?
But, maybe soon perhaps someone will propose a class action on AGN/FX ?

It’s different for each owner and how much they’re willing to do to get the baby they brought with good intentions repaired or if you haven’t altered the gun a refund with a 15% AOA restocking fee (-$300) applied.

But, for a repair(s) I don’t know if it would require a multiple of times shipping it back and forth forever for them to get it right with all the new upcoming bugs ? Depending on a chance on time that it might give issue(s) when the warranty has already expired upon its nth return.

So for $100 if they (FX) honored it, I’d send it back to FX Sweden to get the full $2K refund.
… or one just shouldn’t have bought pieces of a shit to begin with, but that’s just me talking.

Do you know what it would cost to send the gun back to Sweden ? Not sure you could even send any thing back, With there crazy import laws and high tax’s,
Even if you sent it back to AOA, Its your shipping cost and the Techs there are not experts in air gun tuning, So what do you do with your 2000 dollar gun? I have heard the return rate as in get your money back is very high,
Its your money, Spend it like you want,
Me, I am not paying there 50.9% tax on nothing

Don’t lemon laws apply to guns then as they do to consumer products? Perhaps someone should propose a class action in AGN?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lemon_law

It costs around 100$ to ship an airgun from US to Europe, I’ve ordered few from http://airgunexporter.com/ If I had 2000$ tied to a faulty gun I would seriously consider that option.

I really wonder why do people do DIY fixes for 2000$ guns with warranty on? If your new car blew a cylinder head gasket you wouldn’t fix it yourself and post a video to the internet.

… not including other FX related videos.

The latest Impact video #33 and counting ……

…… keep your finger on the trigger, more to come very soon !
