What is MK2 Heavy ballistic coefficient on the Vulcan?
Another forum said it was .0426, but that wasn’t for a Vulcan and CZ barrel. I shoot them at 825 FPS. Anyone got the information?

Shit it is a 30 minute drive for me we can make it once a week if you wanted too. My wife wouldn’t be too happy. :fishing:
Why make it just quarterly?? How about bi-monthly??

Hey G, I got Angels tickets on Sunday last minute. I got to watch them give up a bunch of homers, it would have been better to shoot. Let’s go shoot again soon.
don’t threaten me with a good time. I was telling one of the other guys it will most likely turn out to be a quarterly thing instead of an annual thing. I know four guys that wanted to come didn’t make it due to things coming up like weddings, and moving, so I’m sure it wouldn’t be hard to get 10-15 guys to show up.
I know that’s right. The morning was great until 10, the wind picked up. then the damnest thing happened the wind stopped around 2 just when I was packing up to leave. But all in all great day, got to meet some new people.

Keyser Sore, what you been up too man, haven’t seen or heard from you in a minute. Missed ya sunday. Congrats on the EDgun Dealer spot on the west coast.
Great video, thanks!
Shooter I showed how in my video EDgun 22 VS 25 part two. You’ll need 2 chronographs and then you can use chairgun
at 18:00 I show how to use chairgun
How can I compute BC if I measure the muzzle velocity of the pellet and its velocity at the distance of 50 meters?
BC is never a constant, it will vary between guns and vary depending on the weather. What is a constant, or should be is the value depending on your range. In other words it shouldn’t manner a whole bunch what range you test the BC at, you should get a pretty consistent number. The best way to calculate BC is through two chronographs at one time. This eliminates “shooter error”. The chronograph method should be used with a 5 shot minimum average to eliminate false readings.
BC will vary from gun/pellet to another …. or maybe due to the scope installation or any other reason you won’t get the standard BC for your particular pellet ,,,
but,,if you want to get the right BC for your pellet along with your Vulcan,,,so,,use the Strelok Pro (paid version) and go to Trajectory Validation icon to get the correct BC,,, zero your gun at 50 mtrs perfectly ,,,then try to move up to 80 mtrs or 100 mtrs or 120 mtrs (the farther the better) and count the clicks/MOA/CM/MRAD whatever you use,,, put it in the Strelok and will give you the right BC …

Bookmarked your thread. Thanks, that is the info I needed to set this up. I already own Strelok Pro and is been close, but not exact. This should fix it!

As I understand, BC is not a constant value. Even will vary to diff. velocities in the same gun. Not to mention in another gun
There is detail information about BC in Keyser Zos reviews/posts if you search here
BC can be calculated via bullet drop no? If you have Strelok pro that feature is built in.

if you had 3 chronys, one at the muzzle, one at 50 and a third at 100 etc.
you would find that the same shot same pellet will give you different calculated BC if compared from the muzzle/50 versus
50 to 100.
range is still 50
go and figure, the whole BC is BS
