What is the difference between PCP valve & Co2 valve ???
Can sombody tell me what is the difference between PCP valve & Co2 valve? Can I use normal blodknob type valves for Co2 also?
It will be very much clear if someone can provide a comparision through drawings & meauserments of both type of valves.
I have confusion about the the stem size, orifice size hence I put up this post.
I also wonder what exactly is the function of Co2 adapter being offered for Talon & Condor rifles.

last I knew CO2 comes from here on earth as well. 🙂
CO2 out of the atmosphere and then shot back into the atmosphere works fine for me!

Years ago that I drop the power of my TalonSS and also the calibre to 4.5 mm and 16Jul and discovered a weapon very fun, very precise and very economical because the tank lasted too much … but everything was air. The CO2 I would have to buy it, the air is free.
About the environment …. I think we already have enough CO2 in the atmosphere even too …
Lead comes from earth and returns to earth, though in different site.
Sometimes it is a great thing to have a nice CO2 rifle. And an Airforce Rifle with CO2 has to be one of the nicest CO2 guns on the market.
Have to admit, if it were not for the co2 adaptor, would have sold the Talon SS. Just don’t need more than the power it gives for the shooting/pest hunting I do and it’s a whole lot easier to deal with co2 than to down-tune PCP to that level.
I do not see the need to return now back with the co2 … Does any advantage?

I’ve got to wonder though, is the volume of “tree food” enough to ofset the polluting effect of the lead pellet???? 😆 😆 😆

So… theres no difference between CO2 and Condor valve. The difference between the Condor and a Talon valve is bigger hole.

The CO2 adapter that Air Force sell is just a Condor valve with a thread adapter so it can screw onto a CO2 tank instead of into a HPA Cylinder.

Yes, I agree. But also from de human activity of burning petrol in engines .
Any way I dont think that the CO2 that is used in air weapons is bad enogouh for the enviroment. Is very little.
