Q:

What is the max psi a stock condor tank can take?

What is the max fill pressure a stock condor tank can take without becoming dangerous? Could it go 3600 psi or is this to much?

There ya go, Dave to the rescue

A tank rated for 250 BAR = 3625.94345 PSI

You get a safe 3600 PSI Fill and keep your face where it belongs ❗

I have a tank for my gunpower stealth that is rated to 250bar, not being used so could be up for sale

Dave

I asked cause, it came up when I talked to Cygnus X about his valve and he mentioned a 250 bar fill on the standard tank.

The maximum pressure is the one time pressure just before it goes BOOM and your face and part of your skull are observed sliding down the wall.

The rated pressure is only a safe pressure under normal use with no scratches, gouges, dents, etc. and if the tank has not been stressed beyond its recommended safe working pressure.

But you already knew that, right ❓

Or, of course there should be a safety burst disk. I don’t know when it might blow but like I say, if the tank has been over stressed or somehow damaged, NObody knows. Considering it is High Pressure Air, I’m sure that even less than 500 PSI could kill someone. So why push the accepted safety standards ❓
