Q:

@ what range do most of you sight in for?..

i’m zero’d about 28 yards now and run about 1.5-2 inches low @ 48 yards.
wondering if i need to zero about 25 to be more on target @ 40-45 or so..?
oh, ss 12 inch barrel, .22 jsb’s about 800 fps.

@ this distance, the pellet never seems to pass over my line of sight…@ any range
will try 18-20

Try using the optimum point blank zero calculator:

I used this program with my Condor, and sighted in at 65 yards. I can land Kodiaks inside of a nickel anywhere between 17 yards and out to 73 yards with the crosshairs aimed directly on target. That’s good enough for any situation I’m ever in.

Zerod at 18-20 should put you about 1 high at 35 and dead on at 50.

In the field I sight in at 50 yards. At home 15 yards.
