What’s a good size hole for .25 end cap?
I’ll be making another frame extender for my .25. Don’t want to make the end cap hole to small, for obvious reasons, but don’t want to much clearance either, is there a optimum size hole for this, or maybe it doesn’t really matter as long as you don’t clip?

Mine has an exit hole of ~.295″ … BUT I havn’t used it yet on the .25. I HOPE it works.
Seems pretty close to me, but I have been told .04″ over caliber is an industry standard?
Well I tried different size holes for .22, and I could not hear a noise change from 1/4 up to 5/16. I thought it was very odd.
You might want to experiment to see what works best..
Thx biken, that’s aprox 1/32 of a inch clearance around the pellet, that’s pretty close, but probably helps keep the noise from coming out I figure. I’ll make sure my extender is in perfect alignment with that tolerance!

I just finished one for mine with a 9/32 exit hole. no clipping. It is a close fit though and I’d recommend an “allignment bushing” within the shroud besides the normal attachment point on the frame. Done on a 24″ bbl. I’d probably go a size larger on the 18″ bbl since it doesn’t protrude from the frame enough for a second alignment point.
