It´s good to pull the handle from time to time.
Anyway – i´ve said all along – and i still stand behind it – that i don´t want no MS. The Cricket has it but now i´m looking for a good SS tray. I need to get one made out of Delrin or aluminium. It´s in the works.
I really liked the first R3 SS concept and the ease of use. Even the updated R3 SS feels worse – for me. The big problem there (as well as with the new MS) being the PULL HANDLE /load handle being located too far back for my taste. Imagine shooting fast repeated shots ; You´ll look like a moroon trying to swim one-sided crawl on dry land. I can´t have that …

Check one of the solutions for that hard pull: Replace the recessed hex head with a longer M4 to get it more AR 15-esque and ease the pull.

And how to make the mag index 200% smoother. Little patience and a little round file goes a long way …

I don’t think MG tried very hard to get one. 😯

“Pulling your handle”?

quote Sir Ville:

Aluminium. The action is much rougher than the original, steel breech single shot and will never get to be as smooth. Dr. Evil has polished, tweaked, lubed and relubed it to a umpteenth degree and has indeed got it much smoother but still…
The best of them all , IMO, is the “original” R3 steel breech, bar none.
There´s also an attribute i don´t like on that MS; The breech handle is located very far back. That too makes it feel like the pull is heavier than it necessarily has to be.

Hey Sir Ville,
Are those mags made from aluminium or Plasticcccccccccccc?

They look different from mine…? or maybe not???
I´m not to crazy about my action, really rough to say the least, we will see what develops after some more break-in…
