What’s your thoughts ?
With all the unknown speculation of Obama doing/not doing weapons bans, doing/not doing outragious taxes on ammunition, with the latter being what I anticipate he will do, whats anyones thoughts on air gunning ? ? ? Will we see $25 dollar tins of pellets ? ? ?

Registering bullets is an old idea. No lesser a sage than Pat Paulson (of Laugh In fame) had it as a plank when he ran for President on the STAG party ticket (Straight Talking American Government).

I’ve been seeing reports on ammunition restrictions, maybe making it very hard or impossible to get. Kind of a work-around to make your gun useless anyway. So, they won’t mess with your gun, just the ammo. Not much difference. This seemed to pertain mostly to firearms I think

The whole concept of gun control is cyclical (remember when Clinton took office? Remember Y2K?), but history has shown that each media-driven issue didn’t cause any armed insurrections…. the only ones who ultimately benefited were the gun dealers.
That said, Obama/Osama/Madonna/YoMomma might be a little different. Not sure about airguns, that’d probably drill down to state law, but the AWB is coming back full force, so get while the getting is good.

Just look at Anti-gun New York , where their putting heavy taxes on soft drinks, to stop obesity in kids? Imagine what the tax will be on bullets ,to stop the killing of just one child? Don’t forget the favorite Anti gun line, ” If it only saves one life, it’s worth getting guns outlawed”
