Q:

What size is the O-Ring on quick fill attachment for FX

My o-rings on the quick fill are real old and are leaking air when trying to fill my fx revo. I think this attachment is standard on fx guns. Does anyone know what size these o-rings are? Do you just go to home depot and pick some up or is there a special place to get these?

I know they are smaller than the 90 duro rings I had for the talon

rob, i received those o-rings from amazon last week. They are definitely the right size. I had gone to mac1 and picked up 2 o-rings for $2 a piece….eak. They were white and stronger than the black rubber ones. But the ptfe white ones that i got from amazon are probably stronger than even those. Either way, lol i’m never running out of these orings now.

lol nice. I did some measurements and it looks like the two quick fill o-rings are black 7/32″ ID x 11/32″ OD x 1/16″ W

And I found them on amazon $2 for 100 with free 2 shipping…

I’m not sure 75A duro is the right hardness. I have 90 duro rings laying around which feel like what the fill adapter ones are. So hopefully it well work out….

I’m going to mac1airgun tomorrow to see if i can get something sooner. Rather not wait another week to shoot. But I put in the amazon order anyways. I’ll let u know if they were the right ones.

Here’s some reference info on o-rings in general. I hadn’t known much about them before…. http://mechanical-components.globalspec.com/specifications/mechanical_components/seals/o_rings

when/if you find out exactly what O-rings you need for that thing, please let me know so I can write it down somewhere and hopefully not go through a dozen the next time I need a change…haha

I still have the old ‘unidatum’ site bookmarked… where I got that Talon from you. haha….

Take care, Mav.

Hey Rob, Good to see you all still around! I just got a new air tank for the fx revo after my old one started leaking. New mag as the old one broke. New scuba tank too. So was hoping to shoot pellets in the yard again soon!

I pulled out my calipers so i can measure ID and OD and width. Looks like orings are sold on amazon. I may need to stop by mac1airguns tomorrow as well.

I just went through the same thing on a G8R, but unfortunately, I didnt write down what size eventually worked for me… sorry… regardless, I hope you have an easier time getting those damn O-rings out than I did…

but good to see you again. Seems like it’s been a while.
