Amen to that! Air Force is a great company but they seem to ignore feedback from owners of their products.

Caused from breech nob beating on the frame when fired. Puts a burr inside the frame and that scratches the breech. Another AF problem that could be fixed so easy but they don’t seem to care.

Most likely being caused by a burr on the inside of the frame. Could be debris but if it was, it probably would have moved around and not caused such a straight groove. Pull the gun apart and inspect it for aluminum burrs where the breech rides in the frame. Use a small, fine jewelers file to repair it. Common issue! If the scrape is too deep though, it could effect the integrity of the Delrin breech.

Big chunk of debris embedded in your receiver, looks like.
Stop shooting and disassemble over an old white towel.
