What to do !
Hello All,
I have a RWS P5 Magnum in .177. Got a problem with the
gun .It shoots way low,sights are maxed out. It is still
shooting way low . I don’t know what to do.
I do not want to mess this gun up !
Any help would be appreciated . 😉

Are you sure your sights are maxed out in the right direction?
Lowering the rear sight lowers the impact point
Raising the rear sight raises the impact point
It’s a mistake more common than a lot of folks realize.
It is also possible to place a thin “shim” under the rear of the rear sight. This will enable you to raise the point of impact when dialing in your adjustment.
Keep adding shims until the point of impact is where you want it. The shims can be made out of just about anything. A few thousandths of an inch can make a serious difference.
I’m assuming you are keeping your shots within 20 meters.
I owned one of these. I mounted a rod dot scope on it. Have to drill and tap but it’s not that difficult.
