Q:

What to do when the threads strip?

Recently the grip under my condor frame came off because the threads got stripped. I would like to find a way to thread it back again but thought about this accessory.

Any suggestions?

I would go and buy a helicoil kit and put a steal thread insert in it then you wont have to worry a bought striping the frame out if you donโ€™t feel comfortable doing it your self let me know and I can do it for you

Sorry didnโ€™t see that it is pretty easy to do with a drill press

I’m still considering doing it to mine. ๐Ÿ˜€

it’s a good thing, because i almost bought that grip from ebay ๐Ÿ™‚

Way good……Yes, I am immensely hysterical, and overwhelmed with joy…….Really …Thanks for the idea….

That is the schiznit….

Does that mean good? ๐Ÿ˜›

Man Mr-lama. I just changed it over and I can’t for the life of me figure out why they wouldn’t do it that way from the factory…That is the schiznit….

You’re welcome. ๐Ÿ˜› ๐Ÿ˜‰

Man, now I am going to have to move my fore stock too….I like that…

jb weld actually does a pretty good job..

I like that setup better. It makes it easier to remove the barrels.

I’ll consider drilling a thread if that one goes.

Drill the hole bigger and rethread it…..

is there a way to fix the stripped frame without buying this one piece?

You know that screw that holds on the front part of the trigger guard piece? The one right behind where the grip used to be. You can take that out, and mount the grip there.

Just don’t strip that one, or your pretty much screwed.
