Q:

Whats Baz up to?

I’ve made this valve body with a 26 x 1.5mm thread so that I can use a FX air tube. I also put an 18 x 1.5mm thread, where I intend to fit a small cylinder to contain a regulator. I’ll keep you informed of my progress.

Bump. Any news?

Hmm, I just saw that FX makes a 4 inch tube extension? That is almost exactly what Im looking for. Is Airguns of Arizona still the only place to get these and is 50 bucks gonna be the best price I can find on one?

Hey Baz, could you tell me what the wall thickness is on that FX cylinder? Also if you know what material its made out of that would also help.

Thanks

Oy!

That is done right sexy!

it must be good ..

.. its got me out of hibernation 😆

realy impressed with that turning baz,
il be watching this post for the strings 😉
JJ.. 🙂

Finally finished making the regulator housing and small cylinder to fit on the back of the valve, and fitted it in an air tube. I’ve done a few test shots and the first couple refills of the tube have gone very well. I’ll do some power testing soon and get some velocity numbers. I will have to make an air tube of a more suitable length as one tube i have is too short and one is too long. I have managed to get hold of some suitable alluminium tube to make some. I don’t no whether to paint the gun pink yet, air force might have something to say about that.

Great Idea. I bet you could put an AR 15 shoulder piece on that.

$45 at this link. Gotta say, that’d be very cool. 8)

Bloody hell Baz, are you going to shoot that thing or submit it for the Turner Prize?
