whats wrong????
i put a different scope on my condor today i went out set up at 30 yards to zero it in…. i ended up turning the knob for the left all the way in it didnt matter the scope is still off about 3 inchs to the left….. the height is perfect just not the stupid left/rite adjustment…. iam using kodiacks as they are the most accurate in my barrel….. iwas wandering is this the gun/mounts/scope etc. whats the issue here, any ideas on how to fix it would be appreciated….

i dont have a shroud but after i cleaned the barrel it is shooting straight now so its all good…
ok, my 2 cents. it sounds to me as if you’re clipping your shroud. do you have a shroud? if so, take off the bottle and point the barrel at a light or other bright background. ( not the sun) lawyers made me say that. 😆 center the muzzle in the barrel, it should look like a bullseye, do you see any thing in the muzzle that looks like a cresent moon? if you do, it’s your shroud. your pellet is clipping it and throwing off your poi. loosen the set screw and rotate the shroud slowly until you don’t see the obstruction. tighten the set screw. if you don’t have a shroud, check the crown. or, try cleaning the barrel. hope this helps. 🙂
You can use a couple shims to raise the scope off the mirror a couple mm or so, then put a light source near the gap. Makes seeing the ret’ a lot easier.

it works with my 3-9×40 scope but not my 10-42×60 scope…..im guessing just to much zoom…

Yes, put the scope right against the mirror (careful – don’t break the mirror – fair warning). You can do this with the scope right on the airgun if you use a small hand held mirror.
does the scope have to actually be touching the mirror????
By pressing the scope against a mirror and looking into the mirror through the scope at low power, you will see the reflection of the cross hairs. Line them up by turning the turrets until only one set of cross hairs can be seen and you are back to factory specs.
You may have to hold your eye back a foot from the eyepiece to clearly see the reticles.
Airgunner – If you don’t mind, please explain the use of the mirror. 😕 Not heard of this trick. I’m all the time helping customer’s set scopes and this may be a real time saver. 😀
