When do you say enough has been spent on an airgun?
Here is my dilemma I have had my Condor for 5 years now done numerous mods on it and just love it. It shoots well out to 120 yards has a .25 barrel and other goodies. So I have been going back and forth trying to decide if I should move to a 800cc bottle, but then I will need an ETAC as well. I already have a 2000 reg setup pushing .25 pellets around 850 fps so what to do????
Is the cost of the 800cc tank and ETAC worth it?
Would appreciate some people chiming in here as I cannot decide between want and need.

Well it is just a tank and valve with an Etac in between… It’s not like you have to mess with any of your other setups to switch tanks… 😀 Granted you get a new tank, etac and valve…
And now that the Condor is set up near perfect it’s time to tinker on it more or…. start on another?

An 800 will clear the frame I will guarantee that 🙂
I think the valve out of tank #2 should get a chance at more volume.
Want to see what that can do….. I’ll prep the tank for you this weekend. You can try it out and if pleased will go from there 🙂

But sometimes it’s better to leave “well enough” alone.
You’ve got a .25 pushing 850fps and accurate to 120 yds? You’re done. Call it a day and leave it alone. The bottle and the etac won’t increase accuracy or FPS/FPE, but may bollix the ergonomics that you’re accustomed to. Point your money in a different direction.

Id say it depends on you…
If youre the kind of person whos joy in shooting is just SHOOTING…
Then id say its enough when you realize that with the ammount of money you paid for the gun, + what you paid for the mods (not to mention the time & effort you invested on those mods), you could have just bought another gun that out of the box, does what yours does (or better).
Not too hard to reach this point with AF guns. 😆
If on the other hand, your joy comes from moding, experimenting, tweaking, instead of just shooting (and of course you have the tools, time, skill, patience, money, and the WILL to do it), and you actually enjoy spending more time behind a crony or a work table that in the field actually shooting the damn thing at real world targets…
