Q:

When was my matador built?

I am wondering how to tell when my matador was manufactured? I have a .22 r3m short serial# 2427…. I did notice that there is a place for this info in the manual but it never got filled out.

Everything is much simplier, I started the serial numer from zero few times when producing R3M. By they way from the beginning until this day There was 11’800 R3M made, for less then 5 years.

If it is short in caliber .22 it left Russia in the end of winter of 2017

Thanks shooter, are you sure? Only reason I ask is because I bought it brand new from a trusted seller in August of this year. I suppose it might have sat on a shelf in Russia for a while before being shipped over here… Mine has all the latest improvements that Ed made to the r3m’s also.
