I have no delivery dates for the new LW barrels. Hopefully the factory would fulfill the orders for the long version by the end of April.

I am also waiting for the long version Matador with the new LW barrel. I prefer the black painted stocks with the slots. Are they still available?

If you put a 2 in front of the numbers (ie 244, 242 242 240) these would be metres per second which is about 800 fps…

I beleive that Walnut stock was a $$ factory option. Right now it’s standard for the same price.
Lelja pictured is still having the pine stock.
Good to know, Tony. The walnut is pretty, but I’m 50/50 on having the lightening slots removed. Personally I think the stock looks better with the lightening slots– although the stock is probably more comfy to hold on to without the slots.
I’m assuming in the picture of the Matador with the walnut stock that you haven’t attached the buttpad yet?

It will be replacing the painted pine stocks starting with the current shipment.
Loading and cocking mechanism of Lelja is the same as the one used on Veles.
I did not shoot Lelja yet, so will try to give it some test drive later.
If anyone needs enlargements please let me know what you’d like to see closer.
They had pine stocks for the money. They should have at least some sort of hardwood.
The stock could have been made out of paper mache and it would still be
worth the money. It is hard to believe until you have one….
