Q:

Where are we with the aftermarket R3 valve?

Title says it all. I know the edgun whisperer was working on an all metal valve but haven’t heard anything in a while. Just broke the valve in the repayment regulator in my r3m standard. Only had about 1500-1800 shots on it so I was a little bit surprised.

Been testing them on my .22, .25 and .30 for a while now and think I have about 3K+ on all caliber with no problem, even oldgoat and ride has them. even tested to 500+ rounds at 165B with problem. I have 10 in stock.

I bought 3 all metal valve stems for Ernest about 5 months back. You need to check with Ernest to see if he have them in stock. They are longer in length than the OEM therefore requiring them to be fitted to size. There is information on this forum to instruct you how to measure, cut and install. I’m curious regarding what caliber your R3M is and since you mentioned a replacement regulator if you still have the original regulator with the valve stem inside. Good luck.

Not good if according to Ed you need to shot 2-3K of pellets just to break the gun in 🙁
