Where can I buy a reg. for my BSA Lonestar?
I am not 100% sure I want to get one yet but so far I really like my Lonestar. Where can I buy a regulator for it or send my rifle to get one installed? About how much would it cost?

Not sure why you would need so many shots…The Lonestar has a small air tank, so it is limited, but it makes up for it in power and range…yes it is a real long range HUNTING rifle…ideally meant to fire a smaller ammount of high powered rounds for a day in the field…With mine, more fill means more power not necc. more shots per se…Fill to 2800 and dial the adjuster back and shoot 15.9’s and 18’s….probably 20+ shots…fill to 3200+ and dialed up….21’s and up at lightspeed…it’s all in the fill pressure and adjuster screw…play with their relationship for all the shots you might need…

Interesting 💡 If I am right that works out to just under $100 +shipping probably. If they work as well as the one in the video that would be great. The rifle in the video looks kinda like the Edgun.

To be honest, I dont think you are going to get enough bang for your buck with a reg on that gun. That is the one that Tofaz worked on or am I mistaken? If so, I recall it getting some really nice numbers.
Expect the reg and labor to run around the $300 mark, including shipping. How do I know? I had a reg die in my Hornet…. looking back, I should have just turned it into a Sportsman HV and been done with it.
What kind of numbers were you getting? shots per fill? fill pressure?

I was looking on the yellow forum and two guys have regged BSA Hornet’s and I am amazed at the numbers they are getting. Is the Lonestar tank the same size as the Hornet’s?

I think to keep the gun shooting in the 800s you would have to rework the hammer weight and the probably find something to make a new transfer port that is more restrictive-dont know for sure but just thowing that out there— maybe you can check into the BSA Ultra valve and transfer port -hammer and spring-may be worth a shot. In actuality the air cylinder on the Sportsman is fairly small- think its only 150-160 cc.
No I didn’t check the BSA forum because I wanted to stay in the states.
Yeah this is the one Tofaz had. I don’t want to spend that much so I will just adjust it to my needs. I am wanting as many shots per fill as I can get with a 3,250psi fill shooting 15.9g or 18.1g JSBs in the high 800s. The problem is that if I adjust it to shoot JSBs that speed it likes a 2,800-2,900psi fill and doesn’t get more shots per fill.
Do you think it can it be adjusted to shoot at my specs or does a higher fill pressure just create more power instead of more shots?
Airguns of Arizona would be the place stateside for it.

I don’t have to have a ton of shots I would just like to because I like to shoot and not pump. 😆 It will work great how it is right now when I hunt with it.
