Where did you find silent pellet trap material?
I went to Home Depot looking for the duct sealing material to make the silent pellet trap and was unable to find it. The guy there had no idea what I was talking about (big surprise).
Can anyone tell me what the manufacturer and model of this stuff is and where you successfully found it?

steve, it is in the electrical department. I think Home Depot sells the IDEAL brand of duct seal. Look by the wire nuts that is were my HD cheaps it. Or look up in a phone book for a elelcrical supply store and they will have it. Call first some will not sell to the public.
It will be around the electical conduit section. They use it for plugging up the ends of conduit for a water tight seal. Comes in little 1 lb. blocks/bags. If there is an air conditioning supply place around go in and ask for “thumb gum.”
