where is the .357?
I see it on Kalibrgun’s home page bu I haven’t seen any chatter about it. Anyone know what the scoop is? Thanks

I got a 22 cricket and a 25 Cricket, The 357 has me a little confused, Is it just a 30mm Cricket, Or is it a true 357, If so that’s a lot of lead.
If I bought another Cricket I think I would go with a 177 unless they came out with a 30 mm , That would put the hurt on a few sparrows , But a 357 is just a little over kill???

That stock looks great. Reminds me of the yet-to-be Vulcan. And the Butt Pad should indeed be adjustable. There´s only one Rifle with less practical Butt Pad on it : The EdGun Pad with it´s aluminium and rubber ribs – ribbed for your pleasure.
It´s rather odd that neither/none of the Bullpup makers use adjustable Pads on their Guns. The BobCat (God forbid) is the only one with that feat.
Yes this recoil pad could be improved. It’s not the looks it’s the feel. Like SECoda said they should be adjustable. They need to be angled so that you can rest the weight if the gun on your shoulder and not held in by pressure. Also have the ability to slide it up and down would be nice.
Pity though it looks like they havent got rid of that flip flop looking recoil pad..
Besides being light weight that stock is perfect for a rear rest and subtle adjustments.
Here’s a sneak peak at the new 9mm bug off the drawing board.. the stock is a vast improvement on the current Bulldog in my opinion and shares the rear lines of the discontinued WST stock without the two ribs, the fore end looks far less chunky and is of a good antithetical and usable length… it should sell well.
Note the new safety catch too..
I would be happy if they got the JSB 81.02 grain to 750 fps 100 fpe. 😛 I know some of the Evanix guys see 1″ groups at 75 yards with the JSBs. $18 for 100.

:winkn: should have real world numbers in a month (not manufacturers, my numbers) What I’m excited about is the length, they managed to keep it the same length as the .25 cal unlike the Beluga. They need to quit advertising their guns as having a Weaver rail though all crickets have a picatinny rail.
Cool. Hopefully sooner than later. JSB told me directly they were tooling up the 30 cal Polymags over a month ago. I wonder if we will see them by the end of the year. 😯
Ive just had word from the factory that the .357 in now in production in limited numbers.. it comes sporting a brand new light weight walnut stock that actually fits it propperly and looks quite good.. think P12 with a longer fore end..

That’s the same problem they had with the prototype over a year ago. I don’t see it changing. That was in their 2013 catalog too. They really need to bring back the Compact and the skeleton stocks. It’s what they are good at. 😉
I spoke to charlie at wildwest about the 357.cricket isn’t happy about 800 ft per second.they want higher.just have to wait and see.alex

That’s sad. They discontinued products that set them apart only to introduce vaporware as a replacement. Hopefully they have their game plan straight here on out. Competition in the market place can be a good thing for consumers. Would hate to lose them.

I , personally , see no place for a .35 cal – not even for .30 cal. The ammo alone costs more than good .22 LR ammo.
That’s my opinion though so each to their own.
