+1 as to what Mr-lama said. Brownell’s sells them “grip pod systems” for $150.00. It doesn’t have any swivel built in like a Harris if you’re shooting on uneven ground & won’t fold out of the way like a Harris. Even with the bipod up inside the grip you still have the “ghetto grip sticking down and would have to take it off the rail to put in a case, etc. Be aware though that a Harris clone like the Winchester or even some of the cheaper Harris models don’t have the swivel feature. Get a A.F. rail to picatinny adapter, drill a hole in it and tap for 10/32, and a swivel stud then screws right in.

I despise them. Not only do they look horrible (which they do, really horrible) they are also crap for a bipod compared to a real bipod.

For those looking at one, I’d recommend saving your money and buying a harris or harris clone and you’ll be much happier.

The foregrip bipod is very “tacticool” but I would probably go with something a little more practical….

there is a Weaver rail adapter to fit a harris type of bipod too also if you like it better. http://www.google.com/products/catalog?client=opera&rls=en&q=harris+bipod+weaver+adapter&oe=utf-8&um=1&ie=UTF-8&cid=18178567091716386403&ei=ODYoTMCVNMP-8AaR5pSxDw&sa=X&oi=product_catalog_result&ct=result&resnum=3&ved=0CCIQ8wIwAg#

The reason I chose this set up because it appeals to me. Condor is a Tacticool gun after all. But the best part about these guns is that you can set it up how you like it.

What I would like to see though is more custom stock options for the gun, to make it easier to shoot.

Does the Picatinny rail with adapter solve the frame twisting issue experienced with the original bipod?

I can’t tell… to be honest

BIPOD and Adapter are ordered and hopefully on Santa’s big brown truck about now 😀

Where did you pick up the good looking wood at ?

thanks 🙂 I like what I see so far too. Took some work though for her to hold the POI at 50fpe. Gun does really well with JSB Monsters, but it is not pellet picky at all, Eunjins, Rabbit Magnums do good also. I like these rifles, may get another one and set it as a Condor SS 😆

These groups shot from one fill from 35 yards, using H&N Rabbit Magnums, she like them too

look at how good these LW Premium barrels are, rifling leaves crisp and clear marks on the pellets. We have real good barrels on these, yes sir.

So the main issue with the Condor is the valve itself and improvement of ergonomics. WOKBUTTS are a must have also..

p.s. You can get these laminated grips from Tony http://www.talontunes.com/id15.html or here there is a guy sells a pair of used once http://www.network54.com/Forum/79574/message/1277646024/F-S+laminate+wood+set+for+condor-talon..reduced!

here is my rig, kinda done 🙂

All you need is this adapter http://www.pyramydair.com/s/a/UTG_11mm_to_Weaver_Adapter_Adjustable/2401 to be able to hook up these type of bipods…

They look pretty slick.
How do you like it ?

My boy gave me one he got while in the USMC, they use it also. I put it on a AR it does go on the rail and not the AF rail.

RC

Being as I’ve never seen a Weaver/Picatinny adapter before, I can clearly see now that I will need one 😀

Thanks for the help !!!!!!!!

A Weaver/Picatinny adapter is clearly visible at the picture. So you will need one for sure.

Will this bi-pod fit directly on the condor rail or is an adapter needed

I found the bi-pods on e-bay dirt cheap – They all show 20mm though.

Just wondering if I will need an adapter 😕

thanks for the info guys, that is just what I was looking for…
