Which chronograph to buy? For testing 25 condor!
Have never used one and have no clue the differences between the ones Ive seen other than a couple seem way more sturdy than the others. The others look like their made out of a clothes hanger. Where to buy and which one to get and why would def help me out alot. Thanks again.

I have the pro chrono digital and like it alot. I’ve used it for bows, paintball, pellets airsoft and baseballs. My son has even used it to see how fast he can run over it!
I have seen a model that calculates joules of energy when you enter the weight of ammo and it also will tell you rate of fire if you have full auto.

Like others, I have the Shooting Chrony “ALPHA” model..I have used it WAY MORE than I ever thought I would…it is a very valuable tool for airguns, and once you have one, you’ll NOT be without one ever again. I have personally seen why a lot of times guys say that the SHOOTING CHRONY series are all junk..It’s simply been that some people are too F**55#!! stupid to read and follow some very simple directions..I’ve seen this more times than I can accurately estimate…..it still amazes me 😯

TODAY, with a little looking around, I bet you could find some really good deals…wouldn’t have them under the tree tomorrow morning, but you could probably save some serious cash 😀 😀
I’m doing shooting chrony project but It is not work because It can’t detect the velocity of bullet I think that my sensors is not good.
Do you have information about it ? for example

The Pro Chrono Digital model is superior to any of the sc products! There are fewer error messages and it will allow up to 99 shot strings for 9 strings! It is easy to use…it’s intuitive. 😀
And who sells them? Shooting Chrony Alpha Master Chronograph, red I checked them out. Looked pretty good the only thing I didnt like is then corded seperate read out. If something could go wrong it usually does. I seen the green one just like it I think but without the seperate read out screen. Is that one just as good other than the red one other it being all one piece? Plus its cheaper. Thats a big deal. I went to paintball shop and they had a corded 110 volt one but the name was gone off it. Def seemed indestructable. Been looking on here havnt been able to find one. Thanks again everybody.
I have used 2 Chrony already. My first chrony was a “Chrony Beta Chronograph, blue”, it’s piece of shit.
So I did some reseach and found the “Pro Chrono Digital” seem to be best, I purchased with Indoor lighting System and USB Data, it’s solid rock since, I can shoot it in day or night time, indoor or outdoor. I just loved it.

It could be enough if the sun is high and not covered by clouds…. The quick
fix is to mount LCD lights on the defusers….. I have 2 rechargable LCD
flashlights that I bought cheap from Walmart… They will last over 12hrs on
low beam which is what I use..I drilled 3/4″ holes in the defusers
for the light beam, and epoxied PVC pipe on top to hold the flashlights… I
also epoxied the pieces of the defusers together because they are always
falling apart…. I think epoxying the rods together is next…

So would a garage with a white ceiling and daylight bouncing in through the open doors provide enough “good quality light” for it to work? Or does it need to be outdoors?
I have the same one maw has and it does everything necessary for tuning.
The biggest issue with a chrony is shooting it…. I know it sounds impossible
but I have shot 2 so far. The removable screen on this chrony is handy and it
does all of the calculations with a push of a button… These things do not work
under fluorescent lights. Too much or too little sunlight makes it hard for
them to see the pellet also…. Other than that they are all pretty much the
same…
I got this one and have had no problems with it.
