Which is better when stacking for shotgunning ?
Should I stack up Beeman Round Balls or Exact kings Domed for shotgunning?
Both weight about the same.
Also wonder if a shroud would be in danger of being clipped when stacking pellets ?

Sounds like I need to build a Shotgunning shroud, maybe 3/8″ opening for 25 caliber.
i would definitely take off the shroud. you could totally ruin a shroud if the shot seperated inside. that could be dangerous, not to mention costly.
Never done this. Can you don’t with a 177?
Ive shot 3 kodiaks at at time thru my shroud, got a 1.25″ group at 35 yards every time. POI was about 6″ low from normal, I have no idea what the velocity was.
I have tried plastic, lead and steel ball, any time I used more than 2 balls it clipped the shroud. Take the shroud of and try about 20 plastic balls, that is cool. I call it my cat load.

maybe make some preloaded sabot shot tubes, i once jammed up a barrel by shooting multiple round balls at once. one may do well to just make a barrel specifically for shotgunning, perhaps a heavy duty blowgun tube and bored out breech…for that matter, try a few darts as well…
