who mailed in for the daq list
i was just wondering here who mailed in for the list. i bet his mailbox will be stuffed! 😯 i kinda find it funny the lack of people talking about the list before time was up. but thank u “Y” u made it possable for me to at least to have a chance. but who elce?

I sent an envelope in for a .457 (I have a .308 already).
Next day air doesn’t matter because he’s waiting a week for them to get there. Delivery confirmation is pointless too – by the time you know it didn’t get there the cut off date to send a replacement in has past.
I guess you know it got there… but I just dont see the point if there’s nothing you can do about it if it doesn’t.. rather just think it got there and didn’t get picked than know it never made it. So I just used a regular envelope and threw a first class stamp on it and handed it to the counter lady on the Friday.
As far as the adjuster goe’s. I’m not sure Dennis makes one, but there is mention of someone else who does on his site –

Quackenbush’s Outlaw series has been successful enough that it is now drawing out some aftermarket attention. A friend of Steve’s is Will Hickman from Northern California. Will loves his Bandit .50-caliber, and he created an external power adjuster for it. It’s just a means of increasing and decreasing the preload on the hammer spring from outside the gun, but Will finds that it allows owners to adjust for bullets of different weight. This is very important to those who shoot conicals, as all .30 Exile owners do.
Yeah, I heard that he makes those too. I have seen them on his .25’s…
I wanted an accurate “distance” shooter as oppossed to a “power house”. I think the .308 surefires will be optimal for this.
If I make the list, I have plenty of time to save up for it.
well same day air does not matter because he is using post marks. but i just took mine to the main post office in cincinnati. it is a huge post office and is a us hub and across the street is the the irs for the eastern us and next door to that is ohio tax place. and in the middle of it all is some beer company. (just seem like a bad spot to get drunk and go apeshit on your choice of enemies) but i sent away for a .458. 80 grit, i read somewhere that he makes power adjuster knobs for the hammer spring preload. so when and if i get on the list i will ask him about it.
I wonder how many people wanted it bad enough to mail their letter via “same day air” or something. 😆

I almost went for the .308! It was funny he posted telling people to read the rules and stop sending entries in all early. Good luck guys. Hope all of you all get picked!!!
