Whos Cricket likes a firm grip?
I notice even on the bench if I use a firm grip on my gun the groups tighten up? Make any sense? Probably just me. Thanks. Bill

Sure no problem …….. Bp in general are harder to shoot then a long rifle IMO.
What make it even harder is shorter/smaller/lighter pups ..
The pull down mimics a heavier pup, adding more stabilization ……… resting a dead hand over the front ring mimics a longer pup, minimizing the muzzle flip if any.
All-in-all, what matters is your POI …… .. . and at that end it’s what works for u Sir.

Like to bench shoot BP off of 2-3 bags with no bi-pod.
I like a light to medium grip squeeze on the grip, but I pull straight down on it about 2-3 lbs seems to tighten up the groups for me.
On the shorter smaller pups like my Mutant Shorty and KG Compact, I rest my dead hand over the front scope rings too.

My .30 Cricket most definitely prefers a firm grip.
