WHY A BULLPUP??
What is the big advantage of a bullpup over say a condor or marauder? Other then they are shorter whats the big deal? Let the flaming begin :4:

Biggest air tube with the longest barrel in the shortest package…even with a moderator. Just look at the bull pup picture thread and compare the size of the Daystate rifle to the Edgun! Wow!
Plus, they look cool!

So other then being shorter there is not much difference from (long airguns) . I am talking both being high end airguns.
For me, it is mostly the size, a lot of people don’t realize that everyones situation is not like their own. If I want to go shoot somewhere I have to take my bicycle. And there are no shooting ranges in my city. So I have to take the gun in a bag, put it on my bike, and go to the closest secluded area and shoot there.

i have had Marauder for almost two years and i was really satisfied with it, unless some thing not comfortable like its longer size trying to use it inside the car … as im a hunter shooting only inside the cars ,,, so i sold it out and bought the Edgun Long version, then went to STD, now i use my Shorty .22cal Edgun most of the time …
the size and length is the number one reason that all shooters are preferring bullpups over the marauder and the likes …then weight and other reasons which depends on each user …
I made a bull PUP out of my Marauder, Nothing I could do, That’s ME, = I could do could make that trigger livable with,,
People that think the Bull pups have bad triggers or short inaccurate barrels have never shot , I will repeat, Never shot a high end bull Pup.
The Mutant has the best Trigger of any gun, rim fire, center fire BB gun or pellet gun I HAVE EVER SHOT….. and its really not that HIGH end.

A lot of people do think that.
But….. you can adjust the trigger linkage rod, and take up any play.
The Taipan & Vulcan have the best triggers of the bullpups.
They can be adjusted to have no play at all & very light, to a hair trigger.

I would think that the trigger linkage would give them a long trigger pull with a lot of play.
Bullpups are the exotic sports cars of the air gun world.
I’ve had the long guns, the big bores, marauders, Air Arms, Vulcan, Crickets, Humming bird, and other air guns.
But once you shoot & handle high end, bullpups from the E.U. there is no going back.
The one I’ll never sell is the Taipan, the trigger is a work of art . :suprisedn:
Loaded question,
Light weight, Easy to swing out the truck window, Looks cool, Tack driving accuracy, (mutant and Crickets) can not speak for the rest as I have never shot another,
Easy to travel with. Feels good, Every time I pick up my Mutant shorty I surprised at the shortness and the light weight.

I am not saying anything bad about them. I know nothing about them. I just see a lot of play on this form and was just looking to see why people like them so much.
Why not a bullpup

I do a lot of shooting in the sticks and had a lot of long rifles that got to hard/heavy to manage around things ……….. shot a Bullpup and I never went/looked back.
Sold all my Long guns, only one more left but have 2 Crickets, Matador R3M and a Mutant Shorty.
More to add as new ones come but nothing that can satisfy what I already have, but who knows ?
