Why I shoot air rifles
My daughter Megan shooting 10 meter silhouettes with “the old man”. Her first time out and got 23 out of 40. :thumb:

Hay Dave very cool…. 🙂 Starting your kids off right. Two of my grandkids over in T town like to shoot I’ll have to get them in to air rifles.
My son is a heck of a pistol shot too!

Definitely…… My wife is all for it. My son and I have been shooting (air and powder burners) together since he was about 6 or so. My daughter didn’t really take to it, but she loves paintball, so she comes to the big scenario games with us!
We get out there several times a week. Today, we shot about 200 plastic terrorists (army men)…….. They don’t make them like they used to BTW. A 900fps .177 just takes them apart!
Tri – It’s a great excuse to shoot guns. I tell my wife it’s “male bonding” 😆 with my son and “self defense” with my daughter 😆 😆
Very cool! My 14 yo son and I spent the afternoon plinking in the yard and then I showed him how to disassemble and lube his Gamo springer. Quality time!
Moneyshot – That was a rifle that one of the guys we shoot with loaned her. I think he said it was a FW50(?) Much older break barrel. I’ll ask him for sure this Thursday when I see him. The pull fit her well. She tried my P-Rod but the pull was too long to fit her. My son who is 14 shoots with a Discovery converted to Co2. His best so far is 34. I shot with it last week and got a 36 (darn chickens!) The best I’ve gotten with my P-Rod is 37.
I am going to be looking for a .22 talon for Adam for Christmas. He’s been using my P-Rod while I use the Condor for hunting now. Hoping sales at the shop pick up a little so I can put a nice package together for him.
Airgunner – Are you kidding me? If I set my i-phone down, she’s picks it up to text her friends! However, I’m teaching her how to use the Chairgun app to help improve her math skills.:lol: As far as the Talon P goes, she gets the hand-me-downs.:wink:
Yeah what kind of outdated wooden thing is that. She will have an iPhone shortly and she needs to be up to date. Get her a Talon P. 🙂
