I go through those blades like toilet paper…. It takes me 10 seconds to saw through a dock line with a fresh one, and you’re saying they’ll stand up to split a pellet in half?

You want a really fun challenge, do what ‘the guys with dead animals on their heads’ do. A popular ‘Randevu’ game, after a sufficient bit of ‘pie’ (a liquor) is to shoot your round ball at an axe blade and split it in half, breaking two balloons positoned behind at the key spots.
I’ve done it with .22 LR. It takes some fiddling for sure but when it happens you da man!

The blade twangs (vibrates) pretty funny sound.
also set up in front of duct seal trap to make recovery of pellets.
got the idea off discovery channel, they had some western dude shooting at a steel plate that was ground sharp a killed 2 balloons with one shot.
That is just great.
What caliber and at what distance did you take aim?

OK so i was talkin to my grandfathers new wife, gma died a few years back, and she shot blackpowder competitivly for four years in the late eighties, and held the best five shot group,in the western states, measuring 2.78 i think, at 300 yards! I saw the target, shes got a case full of medals to prove it all. Anyway, she said her favorite games were shoting dud dums, those little candy suckers on a stick, at 100 yards,and shooting an axe blade, splitting the bullet and cutting two playing cards in half that were laying flat with the thin edge toward the shooter. Crazy! Open sights and pouring powder charges by hand, shooting hand poured lead bullets. Anyone else i would call bullshit, this ladies legit. I beleive she won a few nice rifles from guys who thought they could beat her. Anyone wanna try that trick?
