In my Wokbutt there is a threaded hole to screw in a 10/32″ sling stud.

The disc under the bottle cover is the weak link. Getting that disc secure is a pain. I suggest replacing it with a metal disc and then securing it to the tank with epoxy if you can get it to hold.

well i just got done making it and it is great!!!! it is the same as yours but i added a hole to put a swivel stud for my sling. not sure if yours has that. honestly i really do not think you can improve on it. the way the feels improved 1000%. adam that was a great idea. one question, i have is, the alum base plate in the tank flexes a little. i was thinking of injecting some epoxy in it to ferm it up. any other ideas.

Well for those who cant swing $40 I will have to introduce the Wokbutt Basic for $25.

All the comfort with without the frills!

I like wok’s idea. Come up with a new great idea of your own.

Then start selling it and kick wok out of the market.

Hahahahhahaha

Ed,

Mix it up, go crazy, you dont have to be tied down to my design. With your mill and lathe I am sure you can come up with something great!

Edward, I took my Wok-but apart and dipped the curved shoulder part into that black liquid rubber stuff like you dip tools into to coat them. Dries really fast and makes it stick to your shoulder really well. As for the dimensions, I’ll let Adam share that with you if he wants.

Krylon and other Acrylic spray paints work well on Alu – just use rough grit paper and wash the part throughly.

As for the dimensions… I’d think it wouldnt be hard figuring rough dim’s from the pictures… god knows WOK likes to post pics of the damn things.
