Lots of guys like the Morgan. For me it looks bulky on the end of the tank so I designed the first Wokbutt with the hose clamps several years ago. This current version was design due to what most people wanted in a design. We mulled it over here and in emails and when I came up with the current version it grew legs and took off. I personally prefer the model on my gun but most folks wanted the one being made right now.
As long a people can get what they like is the important part.
Received mine today. Having tried both the Morgan and Wokbutt I believe Adams design has the edge ergonomically for AF rifles. First is weight, the Morgan mounted on the stock AF butt plate is 9.3oz The Wokbutt is 3.3oz. Sighting. It shoulders the rifle higher then the Morgan can. I’m using the B-square 11mm to weaver adapter and standard height weaver rings putting the scope 3” above the muzzle. Now I can shave off a ¼” to⅜” off that if needed. Finally, Adam agreed to finish it with GunKote upon request. Now I just need to figure out what sling swivel will work on it. ❓

You will always need an allen wrench to adjust. As for the pad….put one on it.
I have a fully adjustable model in the drawings and something similar runs $125. I can make just about anything but the cost becomes a limiting factor.
The only thing i could picture improving is making it adjust without having to use tools, and selling it with a nice padded butt, like the stock one.
It’s a great thing you’re doing there Adam. One day I might hit you up for one, I decided the morgan thing didn’t really work for me.

Sure but copying would not be original. Making a better one that is affordable is the challenge. You should see what I have on the drawing board….LOL.

Considering the price of $40 I am glad to be able to make them and keep them affordable for those who want them. Since I send them priority mail the $6 for shipping covers that. I will make them as long as people want them and consider them a good deal. If someone does try to steal my design and undercut me I will stop making them and move on to another project. I feel I should not have to compete against my own design.
The Wokbutt has been a good success and I enjoy the time in the shop instead of sitting in front of the TV.
Besides everyone should have a little custom stuff they can afford to really make a noticeable improvement to their Airforce Gun!
