Seems to be a small niche to me, not really a big bore, not really a small bore, cant take most “game” with it, medium sized stuff like coyotes maybe, in the hand of chancers and kimber.

No way in hell I would take it out in the woods though, more like a car you park in your garage and wax and start up every so often, not a real driver.

Rather have a aaa condor set up for jerrys slugs.

oh well.

You could get 6 or more 30-30 lever action Marlins for that price….

You can buy a .25 Matador long, a Marauder .25 caliber rifle, and a .22 caliber Marauder Pistol, for that amount!

It doesn’t sound all that functional to me. The difference between the .303 and .257 doesn’t seem enough to warrant that kind of expense, unless the fps could be increased to well over 1500. Then you would realize some usable energy increases.

However…….why not buy a firearm at that point???

I feel that an air rifle excels in it’s silence, limited carrying distance, and yet has sufficient energy to take down moderate sized game in .25 caliber, at reasonable ranges.

You can’t get firearm performance out of an airgun, no matter how big you make the bore. Limited velocity is always going to keep performance severely limited. Sure you can hunt deer and hogs with a .303 air rifle. But why bother? That’s like riding a 50cc Moped on a Texas 75 mph freeway. It can be done, but why not match the need with the right instrument to get the job done, at a fraction of the cost?

Puzzling.

I have a daystate it has shot plenty of squirrels!
I want a Wolverine and it will be good for medium game.

x2 ! Airforce rifles are the “M4’s” of the airgun world, hands down!
