Wonder how many refills this would grant?
Hi all, I have an order in with Talontunes that will hopefully be delivered soon. Condor SS. I deal with the items in this picture every day and have asked my boss what it would cost to get one. They are 511 Litre compressed natural gas cylinders that have a working pressure of 3600psi. Loads of volume but would be a pain to fill. I havent gotten an answer on price or if the company will even sell one yet but I thought it may open up some new thought processes.
Sorry for the crappy focus of my cell phone picture but it is enough to get an idea of size.

I have only seen the bottles that are put into cars. My daughter lives in Lima, Peru and almost EVERY taxi uses CNG but the trucking companies are all still using diesel. My Son-In-Law as well as the rest of his family each own fleets of long haul trucks and may be interested in shifting them over to CNG. List your site and I will let them know about your stuff.
In the meantime, get a bottle, plumb it up and fill away! Then enjoy your unlimited shooting. :4:
We build compressed natural gas fuel systems for class 8 trucks (18 wheelers). The tanks are large and our largest single unit houses 5 of these stacked vertically in an aluminum framework. The unit is the height of the top of the airdam on the cab from the frame, as wide as the cab, and about 3 feet front to back. I just couldnt help but think of them as a refill source LOL
Needless to say, that is HUGE. For most shooters, you probably only need to fill it once per year … if you can find someone to fill it. :rofl:
