wood stock/ Plastic stock, 25 Cricket + saw
Got a couple of extra stocks for the 25 Cricket, Wood is easy to work with and is lighter than the molded black stock.
But I really like the cricket magazine holders,,,
I am going to make me a real wood MUTANT Cricket 25 stock, I will see how short and light I can get it with magazine holders…

This project is not going anywhere until the wife’s get the picture posting stuff back on the computer.
I am going to have to post a few pictures of the sawing job, I found a cool looking gig saw that might work.
Its not going to be pretty, but its going to be lighter, smaller. and the barrel will face the right direction,

I have been looking over Gregs post on his build, I can not even come close to his build,
But I got a lot of nails and screws and glue is something goes to wrong,
Really you do not even need a stock to shoot a Cricket, The machine part is pretty sturdy, and easy to hold..
Just keep your shoes on , when That’s When, did you hear that , When I start , The saw dust will fly,

Just looked over Greg’s site what he did to his Cricket stock, WOW…
All I got is a hacksaw, skill saw and some sand paper, :rofl:
Greg is a pro wood worker,
I can drive a nail, one out of three swings count right,

2×4 LOL zonk. I am starting off with a Michael something or another stock.
People pay big money for this stock, I am going to saw and chop it up to make it as small and light to fit my 25 Cricket, with a magazine holder.
If any one else has done this PM me and let me know how it turned out…

Just a singe pistol grip would be cool, but the cricket is just to dam heavy.
Are you using a 2″x6″ Mike?

I bought a synthetic stock just for the magazine holders , So now we got someone making the Magazine holders for the wood cricket stock,
My wood stock is a after market Michel stock and its a lot longer than the synthetic stock,
Now with the new Magazine holders Bizill is making , I can start cutting a lot of wood off the stock,
I am waiting until the wife puts the picture thing on the computer so I can show every one the correct way to saw a wood stock with a hand saw.
I got some sand paper but I am hopping to saw very smooth and not need the sand paper,
I promise its going to look better than my 22 Mutant after market stock, :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:
