Q:

Working on a shoulder stock for the LD

Here is a prototype of a shoulder stock I am working on. This is not the final version I already ave made some changes. I have a package coming in few days and I will post the picts when I get that incorporated to the stock.

It really is a nice little carbine. So accurate and consistent.

Got that right!!!!

Now thats SLICK….!!

I had some time to powder coat the QD LD Stock this afternoon. It really look right on the Mac1 LD and that is what I was going for.

Shouldering the gun with the stock really makes it into a deadly short and tight package.

While you are at it take a look at the nice bolt knob Art Burciaga made. I got 2 from him for both of my Mk1’s LD’s and they really look great. He uses a nice allen grub screw instead of the pin and it was very easy to install. I highly recommend them. Mac1 also sells a stainless one.

Nice.

Cool looking!!!

Great!!!

That’s pretty darn clever WOK!.

Will the final or maybe a deluxe version include an adjustable WOK Butt?

Looks good Adam.

Now that is awesome! I don’t have an LD yet, but someday I will and I will have one of those stocks, thank you 😉

ya know with just a little rethought you could probably adapt that same QD shoulder stock to a 22XX frame

now that would be a huge seller
think in terms of the mounting shoe on a Parabellum frame
might mean minor frame & grip mods but would be light years from the shitty Crosman stock

I have been fine tuning the design of my LD Stock. I am using a 1″ QD weaver scope mount to attach the stock. I milled a picatinny base to attach to the QD mount. It gives it a rock solid mounting point and the great convenience of the QD. I like to be original in the things I design and make and I am pretty happy with this version. It has about 1″ of vertical adjustment and I might install a cheek piece.

I call it the QD LD Barstock

Hope you guys like it. It make the LD a nice carbine and easy to transport.

I am making it a Quick Detach.

I want to be able to quickly take it off and use as a pistol.

VERY nice work WOK
too bad it can’t easily be made into a side folder
in any case you should sell few of those, quite an improvement over any other LD stock attempt I have seen other than Corrocans work
