Worlds longest shot?
There is a farmers field out my back door, It’s ranged goes out to about 229 yards from my back deck. I often take pot shots at birds out in the field.
You guys are not gonna believe me but I have gotten a few at extreme distances. No, its not BS…some very long distances, but remember its just blind luck, if you take enough shots..your gonna get lucky sooner or later..and I take a lot of shots..
The new world record is a blackbird at 187 yards..well, at least my record.
2-3 in the 150’s
several in the 130’s
many in the 90’s
My long range shooting is over for now, as the field is overgrown with grass/weeds..hope he plows it soon. I think he only plants it every few years..so I’m done.

I’ll probably have the record of owning a AF rifle the longest without a kill ❗
My AF kill count stands a “0”, zilch ❗
On the other hand, I HAVE NEVER MISSED ❗

I’ll take that challenge. Got my rifle in 2007, zero kills to date (me’s a paper puncher)…
But i’ll bet you have more shots through yours than mine. 😉

Tell us about the gun…make, model, caliber, etc.etc. that IS a long distance fo’sho’ if we’re talking “air gun”….

you beat me for sure….i got a groundsquirrel at 130’ish range….flat so hard to get a real precise reading from the rangefinder

but i have taken those lucky shots too just never that far…the GS was more luck than anything
Shooting an innocent blackbird at a distance where it might maim it. How uncouth… How irresponsible…. how… aw, hell…. I cant even do it any longer with a straight face…hahah
AWESOME shot! 😆 I’ve not stretched the legs out on my AF guns, but I did take a crow and a rabbit at the 90 yard mark. I’d say my best ‘long range’ shot was on a starling at approximately 35 yards. With an IZH 46M pistol!!
Gopher 124 yards with a .22 28 grain Eun Jin (Condor) blasted thru both sides!! Tape was short had to measure from the 1st point then to the pest.
