Would this regulated HPA tank provided enough power???
It’s by Guerrilla Air and the HPA tank is only 13ci, a nice low profile tank.
BUT… the output is set to 800psi. Is this to low to push a 28gr Eun Jin pellet to around 900 fps from a 18″ barrel?

Basically it works just fine. It easily gave me 12 fpe, plenty for a large number of uses IMO. I usually shoot my SS at 20 fpe, which takes about 1400 psi on my gun. Turning up the spring preload (‘power wheel’) works well.
So, depending on what you want, 850 psi is ‘spot on’ IMO. 12 fpe is a very useful level, look what the Brits do with it. And the shot count, even with the smaller tank, is impressive.

Will get about what you’d get with warm weather co2..maybe a little faster, but not enough to get too excited about. Even though co2 at 85-90 F is higher thatn 800PSI, air flows better and 800PSI will be close to co2’s speed (maybe 5% faster).
Up the output (are two places that sell those tanks adjusted to air gun use) to 1000, 1200, 1400, or even 2000 psi and the speed picks up considerably. Won’t get a whole lot of shots with that little 13ci tank before having to refill it when run at those outputs, but it does make for a compact little rifle.
Not light…it’s not the tank, the co2 adaptor is about a pound by itself.

I have a 2,000psi reg. and it won’t push 15.8gr any faster than 900 with the stock Airforce co2 adapter….
Yeah Yellow Ninja is right, your going to need more press. for you to get what you want.

Here’s what to expect from .22 caliber rifles at a temperature of 85 degrees F:
Talon SS: 610 f.p.s. on high power/495 f.p.s. on low power
Talon: 650 f.p.s. on high power/475 f.p.s. on low power
Condor: 734 f.p.s. on high power/685 f.p.s. on low power
Thats with CP premier’s which weigh 14.3gr, Pressure of co2 at 85 is more than 800psi if I recall, but apparantly hpa yeilds higher velocities than co2 at the same pressure – but I dont think its going to make too much of a difference, certainly not come close to your goal.
You’d be better served by a regulator set to around 2000psi and then maybe a 4500psi tank to take advantage of that for more shots.
