Wrapping material to dampen hammer sound
I’m not complaining… my gun is very quiet – but it won’t stop me from trying to make it quieter. I just wrapped my gun in a blanket so that my target was still visible, and the muzzle was clear and fired. It really made the hammer sound quieter. What kind of material and how should I wrap something around certain parts of the gun to dampen the noise. I was thinking I could even camouflage it since I plan to sooner or later.

ya know adam, you’re right. I was shooting a lot today and took some videos with the camera outside, and it really is a little pssst. I think I’ll shoot a while and then see what I want most.

Joules, very simple solution here. Buy another gun…..That way you can send one off and still have the other to shoot…..
To be honest, I think that hammer-slap mods are more psychological than anything else.
No, the gun won’t work without a slide.
While you’re waiting, I hear slingshots deliver 15 FPE with the right pellet. You just need to figure out which pellet works best with your particular slingshot… 😆
But jokes aside, does Tony sell the modded hammer-slap slides out the door, or is it a hurry-up-and-wait deal with the OEM slide that you send him? Wondered about that, his website is ambiguous on the detail.
Just tell tony you want a breach with the hammer slap mod.

Yeah, the breech slide… but then I wouldn’t be able to shoot the gun, right? My goal is to be able to shoot the gun, while I have a hammer slap mod done. Is that possible?
Just send out the breech slide. There are others here that could probably help also if you’re not in for a full tune.

Try 2 very thin rubber washers on both sides of the top hat if it works adjust tophat to compensate and let me know if it works
