Q:

WWAG $695.00 Hatsan Bullpup, surprised I had never saw this.

Another entry level bull pup for a good price, anybody ever handle one. Price looks tempting, that forearm deal is a little funky.

It is actually in the close out section !!

Does anybody else think Ville is secretly working a deal to buy all 6 of these, he sounds kind of fond of them !!!

I especially like the butt pad – or the lack thereoff. Looks like it´s just wood against your shoulder.

that is one ugly ass Pup

The Swedish Hatsan importer has priced the Galatian to the same level as FX Royale 400 – with WN stock. The rest of the Hatsan’s are cheaper though but not as much cheaper as they should be. I mean – for 300 + USD more you can buy a Royal instead a BT 65.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2. This POS iPhone sucks though …

Interesting that the FX rifles in the US are marketed at $1200 to $1800 and more, and the Hatsun rife is $400 and less. Are they comparable prices other places. I get your point. I just posted it in contrast to the P12 which wouldn’t hold air or even chamber a pellet in the case of the .177. I really figured they would be as good as or better than the P-12 and it was posted for price point comparison reasons. At 2/3 the price, this where I think the initial P-12 price would have started considering it origin of manufacture in China.

Not in the case of Hatsan Galatian ! You pay a price for a good rifle (FX) and get a piece of Turkish engineering marvel at its best – or worst. Do you feel lucky ??

You get what you pay for in most cases…

FYI – Hatsan is indeed a Turkish brand of airguns and shotguns with very , VERY fluctuating quality – if that word can be used in the same sentence with any Hatsan. I know a couple of guys who own/owned these and those both stories are pure horror. One of these guys actually started the airgunning with a Hatsan 44 eventhough everyone tried to tell him not to buy a Hatsan. He tried and tried everything there is to fix that POS – he even bought an Altaros reg for it – but it could never produce a group smaller than 2″ at 25m. He finally gave up after 6 months of trying and we´ve not seen him since.
Another one had similar problems with his AT 65 (another modell of these Turkish masterpieces) and he couldn´t get it to group no matter what. After a while he discovered that the Turks – in their infinite wisdom – had assembled the barrel the wrong way : The choke was by the breech/load port and the load port was by the muzzle. These kinds of stories can be found all over the AG community although there is a Rabiat group of believers too. :angrymob:
Those guys are the ones that only care about the power and how fast a “gun” is able to spit a pellet at … something. To hit what you aim seems to be less important.

If Ernest has had them under his wing then i suppose these particular Hatsan´t can be used for other duties than as a Bong.

Google up the new Masterpiece ; Hatsan Galatian. That bugger sells for the same as FX Royale 400 – in Sweden. And yes – there are idiots willing to pay the price.

Talked to Steve just now, he has 6 and just as it says they are not going to continue in this custom gun direction, Selling on closeout and they are finished shooters. I had forgot this but Hatsun is made in Turkey, that is not typically a bad region for quality. ” Ford Transit Connect is made there ” He said they shoot very well and Ernest has helped on the trigger arrangment and it is very nice. He has moderators but they do extend the length of the gun.

Not a weaver rail, just an 11mm they have added.

I wonder if you could fit a edgun style 30 cal offset but grub screw retained shroud. It does not look like there is sufficient room between the barrel and air tube

I do believe that WWAG doesn’t want to do custom guns anymore and this is a left over… possibly unfinished

Good price for what looks like a loud entry level BP. Wonder if it has a scope rail?
